Position: Human Resources Assistant [1022]

Program: Amarillo, Texas – Human Resources

Salary: $37,460.80 Annually

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our team in Amarillo, Texas. As a Human Resources Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our organization by managing the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policies and procedures, providing exceptional onboarding/offboarding experiences, and managing extensive data. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
  • Onboarding/Offboarding
  • Limited staff training during New Employee Orientation (NEO)
  • Extensive data management
  • Report creation
  • Maintains personnel files
  • Workers compensation
  • Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
  • Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In The Job

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One semester (12 credit hours) of accredited college work; or minimum of eighth grade reading comprehension level as evidenced by score on the Adult Basic Learning Examination (ABLE) test
  • Two (2) years of Human Resources experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Employees may be required to utilize their personal mobile phones for two-factor authentication (2FA). Full statement under Informational Documents:
  • Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications To Be Successful In The Job

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
