About the Role

PayPal is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support its Developer Productivity & Experience (DPE) frameworks teams. In this role, you will drive Agile delivery and operations across three scrum teams, helping accelerate the developer experience by guiding teams through effective Agile practices and delivery execution. This is a fast-paced and collaborative contract position ideal for someone who thrives in platform engineering or developer tooling environments

Responsibilities 

• Perform Scrum Master and Agile operations role for three DPE frameworks scrum teams.
• Facilitate all core Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective).
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering Managers to ensure backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and timely execution of deliverables.
• Track and communicate team progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burn-downs, throughput, etc.).
• Remove blockers, escalate issues appropriately, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the teams.
• Support Agile best practices and help teams evolve delivery processes that align with DPE’s platform and engineering goals.
• Coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders within the DPE organization.
• Maintain Jira boards and related Agile documentation in Confluence or other tools

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in large-scale technology or platform teams.
• Experience with Agile in developer platforms, tooling, or frameworks environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and other Agile tracking tools.
• Proven ability to manage multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I or higher) required.
• Background in platform engineering, DevOps, or CI/CD preferred.
• Experience working in a globally distributed team environment.
• Familiarity with SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $64.03/hour - $85.37/hour
